If Capcon was to make this game it would get a 10
-Gameplay: Yakuza's gameplay is a fun beat em all, hard to not like it cause you kick so much ass and its so fun to watch you beat up on the thugs of Japan. I especially like the HEAT up gauge, when you get to a certain point when you've kicked enough ass you get like a glowing blue thing on ur face and you can bust out some awsome moves with weapons and preform some awsome exclusive combos with every weapon having a different special move, so yeah love that. But one downfall to the game is that there is no locking on, so it happens some times where you start punching into the air and some thug will bash your head with a 2 x4 while your trying to beat on where they were standing 2 minutes ago. But aside from that, the fighting is awsome. Now the story behind the game is amasing, one of the best plots i've seen in a game, this is something i would expect to see coming from Capcon, cause their plots and gameplay is always the best for ps2, so im suprised to see this game coming from Sega(im not a big fan of sega).
-Graphics: Not much to say other than, these are the best graphics you're gonna see coming from ps2.
-Sound: The sound is pretty good in this game, but its kinda anoyying to hear the same fight music over and over, well theres two sound settings when u fight. Boss music and Normal fight music. So yeah Sega could of done more with the music. Probably everyone disagrees with me on this and thinks its anoyying that everything that comes out of everyone's mouth in Japan is **** **** **** but i really enjoyed hearing the thugs and Yakuza calling me a **** head and all that stuff( i acutally did, im not being sarcastic).
Overall this game brings a good fighting game with an amasing plot full of twists and turns. I recommend you buy this one.
