The Noid is one of my all time favorite characters and though it's an obvious advertising ploy, I was pleased anyway to know the Noid had a video game on the NES. Unlike the past game on DOS and Commodore 64 where the Noid is a pizza destroying villain like he is in the commercials, in this one he is the hero and is trying to save New York from Mr. Green who is a Noid clone basicly in green rather then red, and his minons are Noid clones as well. However, the battles are pretty dumb as I will explain in a bit.

GAMEPLAY:
Well the gameplay is pretty good, sidescroller, use gadgets, a Yo-Yo and Magic to battle enemies like Noid did with Pizzas in the commercials. The levels are pretty fun and enjoyable as well as challenging. However the boss battles involve being at a pizzaria and in a Pizza eating contest. What? A Pizza Eating Contest? With the Noid? He's hates Pizzas. He devoted his life to killing them. Why did that put that in the game, it's out of character. The Noid saving a city I can accept, but eating pizzas? I'm sorry but that is wrong, it's even more wrong that in the ender, the Noid get's pizzas for saving the city. But other then that, the gameplay is awesome. And the levels have their veriety as well so it's not boring.

GRAPHICS:
Nice cartoony 8-bit graphics, colorful, and enjoyable.

SOUND:
Nice cartoony music, very fitting of the Noid, and nice cartoony sound effects which also fit the Noid, Perfect.

OVERALL:
While the pizza bit is out of character and the previous game Avoid the Noid was more connected to who the Noid really was when it came to Pizzas and Pizza Delivery boys, this is still a very fun game and I recommend checking it out if you can.
