Yoostar 2 for the Kinect brings your thespian aspirations to life and puts you in the spotlight! Offering a career mode, quick play, a social community and over 80 unique film scenes from major Hollywood studios-you're the star in Yoostar 2!

The Good: Though the good qualities of Yoostar 2 are limited, the game's still fun and will appeal to certain audiences.

* Plays Well with Others: Yoostar 2 is a great party game and even though every scene isn't made for multiple players it can still provide great entertainment for a party or group.

* Easy to Play: Yoostar 2 is easy to jump into and easy to play for practically all age groups and experience levels.

**Note** Those interested in purchasing Yoostar 2 for younger children should be advised that not all of the content will be suitable for younger ages and parental supervision may be required depending on age and standards.)

* Solid Social Features: Yoostar's social community will be a big draw for those wanting to get their acting skills out to the world or to view the creativity and skills of others playing the game. Watch, rate, and even give special accolades and awards for top performances as you raise your social community status from struggling actor to super star!

* Freedom of Expression: With the "ad-lib" feature, users can bypass reading the lines and say whatever they want-whenever they want to. It's fun, creative, and adds a small amount of replay to the game as a whole.

* Good TA Achievement Ratio: Right now the ratios on Yoostar 2 are still decently high and most of the achievements are pretty easy to get. (In a few hours I scored over 1,000 TA points while sick at home, with my shirt off, and with a barf bucket between my legs. If I can do it you can too.)

What's Bad: Yoostar 2 struggles to ascend above the waters of its own mediocrity while its overwhelming bad features drown most of the good that's trying to surface.

* Poor Quality: Poor image quality and camera resolution are the real killers for Yoostar 2's ingenuity and gameplay. With no full screen options, a constant white, blurred, and broken distortion behind the performers and a grainy screen resolution of 480p, Yoostar 2 can be a hassle to enjoy even for the most ardent of fans.

**Note**: With a proper green screen and good lighting results similar to the previews can be achieved. This review was written for the typical gamer without access to such equipment.

* It gets Old Fast: Yoostar 2 is one of those games that's great for a while but gets old fast. It can be enjoyable and entertaining with a group but won't be a game you play alone for extended periods of time.

* Broken Mechanics and Features: Yoostar 2 is simple in its design and suffers for it. Though voice volume is registered and required for top marks, actual word choice and tone are not. You can grunt, moan, speak Chinese, or giggle like a school girl as long as you start and stop when prompted. Knowing you don't have to play by the rules really takes away from the fun factor.

* Horrible Career Mode: The idea of starting off as undiscovered actor, finding an agent, landing your first major role, and eventually becoming a Hollywood A-lister would sound compelling-if it was in the game. The career mode is a career only in title and plays more like a watered down version of "Rock Band" without the fans, managers, cities, locales, or customizable gigs. The career mode in Yoostar 2 consists of completing random and seemingly unrelated scenes to unlock another portion of the same town all without NPC interaction, plot, or purpose.

Final Thoughts: 100% rental. Though Yoostar 2 can be a lot of fun it's enjoyed best in a group and entertains about as long as Mark Hamill's acting career.
