Ok, who doesn't love Yoshi? In this game it's all about Yoshi. Yoshi basically hatches and finds his island has been ruined by Baby Bowser himself. Now Yoshi has to eat fruit and defeat BB's minions to save the island and restore peace to the land. Basically you go around sidescrolling levels looking for food and enemies to defeat. Yoshi can lick, groundpound, jump, flutter jump, use umbrellas, ride dragons, etc. There is quite a lot you can do. In graphics, well, I love the graphics. It makes you feel like you're really in a book, with cloth/rubber backgrounds. Beautiful graphics. In sound, well, some of the sounds can get annoying but the ambience is nice. My favorite part is in the "sewer" levels where a Yoshi rap/remix is done, and it's very awesome. As for value, there are quite a lot of secrets in this game, but the game is still, unfortunately very short. There is a practice mode, story mode, and trial mode where you can replay the game's stages to your heart's content. Although you can go ahead and try to get all melons and unlock everything (Including 2 new colors of Yoshis) it still won't last you very long. Still, this is a very good game.
