Don't let the kiddie look fool you, this is a full fledged Mario game!
In each of the levels you are required to eat 30 fruits. What makes this a good concept is that once a level is unlocked in story mode, it is also available for playing for a high score. This does give the game an arcade like feel, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, and in this case, it isn't. Competing against family and friends for the high score is one of the best aspects of this game.
The graphics are pre-rendered so they are of course amazing! The music seems like it should be obnoxiously annoying, but somehow, it isn't. Maybe I'm the only one who likes singing yoshis though.
Overall, this game is awesome. Never seen it around in stores? I rest my case. Don't let the kiddie look fool you, this is a full fledged Mario game!
