This will leave a mark on yoshi's reputation forever.

When you see yoshi on the front of a game like this, you might think how cute!
Don't even think about it!

Yoshi's Story is a poorly put together yoshi game.
The story is that Bowser Jr. stole the Super Happy Fruit Tree. Already, that just sounds like something that a crazed toddler would say. Anyway Bowser Jr. traps the yoshi's in a story book. They have to progress through levels to the final level when you fight him. To do this, you have to eat 30 of the fruit in a level. WHAT THE HECK? Yoshi, either carry a baby or just run through the level!
The problems start as soon as you turn to the first page of the storybook to select the first level. You actually get to choose what level you want to do, like, there's 4 levels in each of the 6 worlds but you only do one of them! A SIX LEVEL GAME? But, you have to collect hearts in each level if you want to choose your next level. So fans who breeze through the levels to get them over with, be prepared to have one level for you each world.
Anyways, the graphics and music are cute- for about the first 30 seconds. Then they just get annoying, and sort of creepy. i really prefer the crayon graphics and sound from yoshi's island.
The so called "bosses" are way too easy.Every single one of them you should kill under 45 seconds unless you have something wrong with you. The game itself is too easy too. I'm guessing Nintendo was aiming this at 2 or 3 year olds, but they must have forgotten that they wouldn't be able to play because they;re so young.
The control is bad too. It's not the joystick, AT ALL! When yoshi is running and you stop him, he;ll keep running for another 2 seconds, most likely to die somehow- even though there are very few ways in the game.
Aiming eggs is also annoying. It's just to hard to position the mark!
Satisfaction when you beat the game- TERRIBLE! Alls that happens is bowser Jr. gets all ticks of and then he gives you the tree and the yoshis get out of the story book and go home with terribly annoying music. Then the credits come on and it shows a storybook with hearts coming down. HOW AMAZING. They're aren't even any extra or secret unlckable modes, so when you beat Bowser Jr., you;re pretty much done with it.

Overall, Yoshi's Story is a terrible yoshi game with poor controls, creepy and annoying music and graphics, and a load of unsatisfaction.
