It's a great game. I'm not sure why GameSpot gave it a 5.3.

Yoshi story is definitely the game for Nintendo 64 fans around the globe. It's simple minded and easy to play, so it's good for eight to ten year olds. I first played this game when I was eight, and I feel in love with it instantly. The story line goes a little like this; The Yoshi's have a fruit tree that makes them happy and feeds them, but baby bowser stole it. You have to go through five levels to make it to the six level to kill baby bowser. It's rather simple but it's all in good fun. I don't understand why everyone is dissing it so bad.
