I bought this game with very high hopes, I had just started to enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh and I was really enjoying the new rules. When I started the game up I was pleased to see the snappy 3d graphics and the free roam campaign. The deck that they gave me at the beginning was pretty good, at first, and the duelists were beatable with just the right level of challenge. You do have to complete some duel puzzles early in the game, which are extremely difficult, but you can get through with a good Gamefaq. It's great until you get to the chapter in the past. Unless you are a brilliant duelist with a built from scratch deck you will be defeated every time. The difficulty is unbearable, no matter who you duel you will be beaten. I guess if you buy plenty of booster packs and don't rely on the starter deck alone you stand a chance. On the flip side the free duels and the wireless duels are quite enjoyable. Friendcodes are not required which makes this an easy one to get into. If you play it for the storyline don't bother, but if you just want a casual duel this could be the game for you.
