As repetitive as playing solitaire.
That is... literally what you get... nothing more. You start with a deck that resembles the YuGi deck from the card game, and start battling Yugi from the cartoon. The thing that keep this game from being a total bust is the flashy style. Yugi is voiced over, the graphics are decent, but it gets repetitive very fast.
Every time you win a duel, you get an extra card, or 3. It's the only thing to keep you going. It can be frustrating too when you keep getting the same low powered cards.
Once thing that almost kills the game is the fact that Yugi can summon Exodia.... thats right, he actually summons Exodia in this game. IS THAT ANY FAIR? For those of you who never played it, Exodia is made of 5 cards, and when you get all the pieces of exodia in your hand, you win. This is ridiculous playing against a computer, especially when you have no chance of getting exodia unless you play for hours and finally collect the cards, and that requires a ridiculous amount of sanity.
So what does it all boil down to? This is a virtual trainer for playing the game. Thats it. Nothing more, nothing less. So I cant call it a total failure for doing what it was made to do, but cmon, how could they sell this thing the way they did? Its an insult.
