Nice storyline, but too short. different gameplay
A criticism that I'd have to give this game is the end. After you beat Yami Marik, you get the Winged Dragon of Ra. However, when the credits play, the game just goes back to the start screen. There's no option to save or whatsoever. This makes the Ra card that you just earned completely useless. I've heard that the Ra card IS playable, but you have to hack the game in order to get it in your trunk or deck.
An interesting thing to note out is the duel rules. In this game (and Reshef of Destruction), the rules are slightly changed. There is now an "Element Rule". This basically means that for example, if a Fire monster battles with a Water monster, the Fire monster will get destroyed. This came in handy when I got into a pinch with some of the Rare Hunters and other Duelists, but it was also annoying when they did the same to me (a "Shadow" monster with 200 atk defeated a "Light" monster with 2900 atk). Some card effects are also changed.
Other than that, it was a nice game to play, although I hoped that the developers would re-make the game to make it even better.
