Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link is much different compared with all the other Zelda games it like Super Mario Bros. where you’re walking left and right with the background instead of the view coming from above Link. Another thing is that it’s the only game in the series that you get experience points and build up your stats – it’s pretty simple once you level up you chose to upgrade your sword skill, your heath, or your magic.
There are plenty of secrets to find in Zelda 2 like all other Zelda games you can find heart containers, magic containers, secret wizards that teach you new magic and learn new moves from secret knights like the up stab and down stab.
The reason it’s not as good as the original is because there is not any verity of weapons in the game – you just have your sword and shield whereas the original you have the bow and arrow, the boomerang, the candle, etc. so Zelda 2 won’t have more to offer than the original Zelda but it still is one kick ass game. Buy it.
