Zoids: Battle Legends is a great game for someone who has played alot of games of its kind. Some people may find Zoids: Battle Legends to have too many aggressive opponents too early on in the game. I liked Zoids, but playing it just seemed way too hard, as completing the second level in story mode wore me out. About the only way to simplify it is to buy better Zoids in tournament mode, and use an Action Replay in story. Anyway, you either play in story mode or tournament mode. In story mode, you take what you can get, equip to it with what you can, and be thankful. You start with a pathetic zoid at first no matter which side you choose, and it doesn't get much better. In tournament mode, however, you can buy extremely powerful zoids that you can't get in story mode. You can use the characters you unlock from story, or use the default chracters for play. There are 3 different tournaments you can unlock, depending on which character you are. You can give your zoid weapons, paint, and support that make it unique. When you're about to die, you can unleash your own special attack. How this is unique is the fact that each zoid has a different one... it's truly an amazing game. This game is a must buy for all GameCube fans.
