Another Konami game and this time the reason to but it isnt a new MGS demo!!! With great fights,An okay script and wonderful Cel-shaded graphics this is definetly woth playing.
Now the story isnt that memorable and isnt what the game is for!
The game is about intense awesome mecha fights. Now the control system is smooth and makes switching weapons and pulling off special attacks pretty fun. The standard enemy fights are fun but result more in a long series of small explosions. The boss fights however is where the gameplay really shines. The bosses will contantly force u to alter your tactics and actually think about how the hell you will penetrate their shields espace their weapons etc. They're wonderfully varied and enjoyable and it is where the game really shines!!!
The graphics are really really great with Smooth cel shaded characters and mechs and a sort of Washes out colour effect to the camera that adds a lot to the game. The FMV's are basically anime scenes lol!.
The sound is alright and fits the mood well with Electronica/Techno and the Voice work is well....not so good. Still its not terrible and the script is fair!
Overall this is a worthwile purchase as its now very veyr cheap and will offer u a couple of weeks of robot fighin fun! Intergalactic......
