Never heard of the first game in this series, but I am glad I found time to pick up the second installment. Game looks great to me, furious action and will some depth to the action as well. Some boards are fun to fly and gun but other require you to use all the moves available to you to get out in once piece. Grabbing a enemy and using it as a shield while blasting away or throwing it into the other enemies is very staisfying. The story is ok, and the controls work well once you get used to them. Only thing is the boss battles are find a pattern and look for a weakness, repeat. Gets a lil repetitive in spots but fast and furious action is just what I wanted from this game, and it has that in spades.
