All in all an okay game. Nothing to shout about but in the end it turned out to be good.

This story is about a young boy who through hardship becomes a pilot of a mech and then reluctantly goes off to save the colony he lives on.------As I played this game I did enjoy it but nothing about it really jumped out at me and shouted "Great Game!!". The storyline was okay but it wasn't very deep and moved along very quickly giving little time for character growth or a deepening of the plot. Learning the controls was relatively easy except the lock on/off and switching between locked-on enemies could get you into trouble if you are not careful. I have to admit there were a few times that I thought about just sending the game back before finishing because it was not that exciting but I am glad I decided against it because the last few cinematic videos and the music were pretty good. Sadly it just left you with a cliffhanger ending without giving you the excitement of really wanting to pick up the sequel but I will anyways just to see how good it is.
