Zoo Tycoon 2 for the most part is your standard zoo sim, but there is also a lot of fun to be had. If you dont want to play through mission mode, you can play free mode, where all of the available buildings, terrians, ammenities, and animals are available from the start, you also have unlimited money in this mode. Also included with the game is the Encarta animal encyclopedia, where you can read up on the info on any of the animals available in the game. This game would be a good choice for parents who want to play something together with their children.
Gameplay 8- standard sim mechanics. you try to create the most popular zoo, while at the same time, keep your visitors safe, and your animals happy. Graphics 8- the models are a bit blocky, but nicely detailed. Sound 8- take what you would hear walking through a real zoo and listen to it while playing. the sounds the animals make are realistic.
