It's simple, yet addictive.
Your goal is to clear all the balls off the field that slowly move towards the hole or holes. If a ball reaches either of these holes, it's game over. You clear sets of balls by matching 3 or more fo the same color. You also can activate power ups marked on special balls, that aid your progress in each level, such as pushing the balls back away from the hole, exploding sets of balls and more.
The levels are short, but action is very intense and really puts emphasis not only on quick thinking but precision. Zuma features just a handful of game modes: Adventure, which takes you through various levels, and gauntlet which let you play a survival style mode game on any level you've played so far.
Zuma looks good, is easy to understand and has a nice presentation. It features leaderboards for your high scores, and 12 achievements that total 200 points.
Zuma is a nice, simple to understand game, that will please everyone of all ages. It's just a shame that for 800 points, players didn't get access to more game types. But still, Zuma will please for what it has.
