Great on the PC, but only "okay" on the Xbox.
Similar to its computer counterpart, Nightfire for the Xbox keeps good color and visuals. There are many effects such as the breath from enemies in cold weather and snow, oh sweat falling snow! But the thing that distracts me, and anybody else, is the graphical glitches. You would have to be blind not to notice them. In cinematics, characters freeze in the background, feet and hands go through objects. It's almost laughable everytime. The graphics are above average, but the glitches sadly pull the experience down.
The sound is average to what you would find in other first person shooters on the console market. Which is good, but definetely not the greatest either. The character's language, if you notice, is giberish when they spot you or talk to their allies. I'm not a professor in foreign language, but I don't think "Shra ring a ling, shlabang" means "Shoot the enemy."
Gameplay
During multiplayer and campaign you are given options from the start menu to choose a bundle layout. There are many, including controls from previous 007 games, like the infamous Goldeneye. Controls work fine, but the slow speed of the unchangable camera sensativity will easily be noticed especially in multiplayer. They're slugish and sometimes don't give you the intended action that you wanted.
Multiplayer is one of the big parts of games now. While Nightfire doesn't have Xbox-Live support, it still has many features to add. The thing about multiplayer is the imbalance of everything. Basically who ever has the rocket launcher will never be killed, and the maps give the advantage to one team or the other.
Overall
I recommend that you rent Nightfire for the Xbox before considering purchasing it, if you do like it then shellout the $20 at your local Walmart.
