After Admitting PS4 Has "Huge Lead," Xbox Boss Says Company Is Focused on Gamers

With all of the disastrous mistakes that Microsoft has made over the past few years, it's a wonder that the Xbone has done as well as it has.

How convenient for Spencer, such a fake..Last gen all MS did was take shots at PS3, brag on twitter and brought up how they were besting sony early on...MS are such phonies. Now they are getting their as kicked they don't want to talk about comparisons lol.

The Wii U wasn't focused on the competition either. Just saying...

Of course, every manufacturer is focused on the competitor. If they weren't their product would likely sell terribly. You have to offer a decent alternative or you get terrible marketshare and that will affect your product for some time to come (in this case all generation). I think the Xbox One will do well overall (though PS4 will obviously outsell it at this point), but for Phil to say he isn't focused on the competition at all is pretty silly. Of course he is.

My wife bought me an X1 as a surprise as I hadnt yet upgraded to a new system (Not counting the Wii U) and I gotta say Im having more fun than i expected

I see multiplayer as a big factor with game consoles and as long as they keep Xbox Live running and improving it; I don't think the Xbox brand will have any issues. I think this is the only place Sony can't mess with Microsoft in, which is servers, network infrastructure, chat, groups, parties, etc. I've played on both PSN and Live since their infancies (PS2's Network Adapter with SOCOM and Xbox with Ethernet) and Live still takes the cake.

Here in America, or at least my part of the world, California, I see a lot of people rocking Xboxes for multiplayer. Outside of America, I guess that's a different story. I also don't see a lot of people on here talk about multiplayer games much. The comments section is comprised of people who prefer single player games and talk about exclusives and what not and try to rub it into each others face.
