Arkham City's voice of Batman not returning for Arkham Origins

Looking at some of the comments gives me an idea. BM Beyond actor Will Friedle might be a good choice. He has that edge when he used his Batman voice, plus it is a voice that the players are familiar with, at least to the majority of players....20 to 35. They probably won't go with a past actor, but perhaps they will get someone to do their best "young" Kevin Conroy. Sigh...at least Conroy still does some DC Animation features, though he should be asked to voice Batman for all of them.

Say what you want to say. This is a forum for comments and opinions. Here's mine...

Whenever I read a Batman comic (or any other form of literature on Batman), Convoy's voice is the one I hear. There's a reason he's played the role for so many years. As a fan I find it almost insulting when certain groups of the entertainment industry think they can cleverly alter crucial details of our beloved characters without it's devoted viewer noticing or caring. Who is Optimus Prime without Peter Cullen? If you're giving us a NEW Batman give us a NEW game. Don't slap the name Arkham on it and expect us to buy in. It's been said before- "If it ain't broke don't fix it."

No Kevin Conroy... No Mark Hamill... No Rocksteady...

K, I understand Conroy and Hayter being drawn into the same circumstance, being told their not doing their characters but why is Mark Hamill being brought in. He said he was retiring doing to Joker, Hamill himself said, he wasn't being swapped he hasn't been refused by the company to do it.

I could understand that but Conroy has been the voice of Batman for years, It's gonna be weird hearing another person voice such as iconic character.

hmmm could it be in the arkham universe that batman starts his career at an earlier age than in the comics and shows? this would explain why they're planning on using a younger batman voice. let's just hope it's not too young like with Batman Beyond lol.

**** this. This suck. Kavin Conroy is THE go to voice of Batman. No younger guys with puberty issues could match him.

I just think the whole thing is getting blown out proportion. No matter what we think, most of us will buy the game, we will play the game and critique every minute detail along the way! lol. We'll always compare every Batman and Joker voice overs to Conroy and Hamil (because they were the best and part of many people's fond memories) but there has been some respectable alternate voices over years.

Hopefully they will bring Andrea Romano on board to do the voice casting/directing again. One could argue she has been just as iconic in the Batman/DC animated universe, in matching the voices to the characters.

That's fine by me, I honestly don't think he's that great. I mean, he's good, but I'm not sad or mad that he's not reprising the role. Plus, it's somewhat common that he has a different voice actor. Maybe David Hayter can do it... ;)
