As Heists Arrive, GTA Online Experiencing Server Issues

Ya, as expected, got home from work and can't even get into anything online. It's frustrating, ya, but I sure am thankful I didn't expect to get on today (Or the next week)

Woulda been a nice surprise though! For real.

Well those aren't the only issues. So far there are a lot of basic things spoiling the fun. The annoying circuit board hack where people get impatient with the hacker and quit the mission. There is NO WAY to tell how far they are along in the hack. Also if you join a heist it's all comepltely random, you can't slect one you haven't done. I kept getting the pre setup or collect the car from the very first heist even after i had completed it. But the most maddening thing is you can't skip the fucking cutscenes. I DON"T WANT to watch lester do his speech time and time again after doing the same god damn mission.

I'll be surprised the day a game is released and there aren't any network connection issues.

General tech question. If dev's were to release this region by region instead of the whole world, would that have worked more efficiently?

ya same here everytime i try to get on it says unable to download file and i have friends playing right now and they having no problems

It's not like people said this would happen or anything. You know what console gamers general response to that was?

Getting a connection to a server on PS3 is so butch at the moment. But that should be expected with the release of such a anticipated game mode such as this. Everyone across all consoles everywhere are all connecting at once, of course there will be problems. Some of the players with less money should run non-heist jobs to buy a high-end houses, as Lester suggests. Till then Rockstar, I shall be patient, been waiting 2 years anyway.

What I find ironic is the sheer amount of people b*tching and swearing off the game altogether because of the lack of heists, and yet the game has been so inundated with people on all platforms that the servers are down.

People need to stop crying!

First - if you brought gta for the multiplayer, I think you picked the wrong game.

Second - rockstar has just dumped a shit load of content for FREE, where most companies would have charged you, hell most companies would have cut gta v and gta online into separate games and charged £55 for them both!!

Stop acting like spoilt children, rockstar are TRYING THEIR BEST!!!

You had nearly two years to prepare for this moment Rockstar. Buy some more servers goddamnit.

Is anyone surprised? Given how blasted the servers got when the main game came online with problems I honestly expected exactly this today.

I'm patient, I'll wait for it to clear up before I jump in. I did just get DmC today.

Xbox one did let me online but then it broke and now when I go to story mode, I see Trevor has lost his legs and is in a diver suit.. :O
