Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag DLC and season pass detailed

Saying that a game is "incomplete" because the DLC wasn't included is like saying your car is "incomplete" because it didn't come with every single car accessory ever made. If this DLC was never made, the game would still be fully complete...

It is a shame Ubisoft are going so down hill in recent years.

The only game I've played of theirs in the last couple of years, that I thought was really great is Blacklist, and that itself is somewhat lacking in content.

So for the morons: Buy this rubbish, buy all it's DLC over the next year which has been developed WHILE MAKING THE GAME and then buy that crap called Watch Dogs and do the same thing. Yeah, Ubisoft really likes you fluoride idiots.

I guess some games MUST be pirated.

I pirate the game , pay $0 for it , then i can buy all the rip-off content, which in the end will give it something like $50 - $60.

And everybody end up happy.

Okay, If I get this is going to be the GOTY, or complete edition or whatever they will call it, when they will gather all the DLC's with the game.

Never thought i would pass on an AC games since i thoroughly enjoyed every single game in the series (AC1, AC2 series, AC3; all great titles), but this is ludicrous. How can you except me to justify paying you $60 for an incomplete game, The fact that there is a day one DLC doesn't make the content optional, it means that was content removed from the main game to sell me an incomplete product. Don't even know if i will get a GOTY now even though it looks like a great game, passing on BF4 and AC now because of this DLC scam. I miss the days when expansions were released and brought forward actual content for nearly the same price as a modern DLC :(

Noted - Wait for complete pack a year after release, then keep waiting for it to be reduced in price, then keep waiting for it to show up in a -75% sale.

Can't you see what they've done to the industry? Can't you see that dlc is ruining gaming? Slowly but surely they're taking what us gamers considered fun & entertaining & making it not worth while anymore. Don't you remember those days where you UNLOCKED shit by playing the game & meeting certain requirements? If your young as hell then no you won't remember it as well as the gamers who started with Atari & Nintendo. We've seen all the era's of gaming & we know that this DLC shit is complete bullshit! The fact that they plan DLC while developing the "main" game @ the same time is insulting to everyone with a brain. Is it optional, yes. But y accept this as the standard for gaming? What happened to expansions? Can't you see that in the future we'll be paying for the title screen? They're slowly selling us games piece by piece. Please boycott this game.

Glad I usually wait for it to go on sale. And I only buy it on the best version, PC. Nothing beats mods. Or Steam sales. I bought AC 3 for $12.

Trailer definitely got me interested, and I love expanding single players campaigns so I'll probably bite.

Their disrepect to us, gamers (which is way more than just consumers), is so big that it's even a bit comic. :P I'm not falling for this joke, Ubisoft.

I have had it with this DLC, season pass bullcrap. I miss the good ol' days where a game in a series is released every 4 years if you're lucky, and all the content was included in the original price of the game.

Never spending a dime on season passes or DLC, no matter how tempting the content may be...it's the principle behind it.

I'm happy enough with the main game content in AC games. Plus they put out games to often to pay for dlc as well.

Just get the Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag with all the DLCs, aka Pirated Edition. ;D

I heard that JackSparrow will be playable in the next DLC.

I'll pick it up later for Xbox 360 or PS3 on discount or maybe used. If they want us to stop buying used games, they should stop making season passes or day one DLC. No way I'm paying for this Ubisoft!

Everyone worrying about not getting the full game. This single player DLC is about someone else. So no, you dont have to buy the DLC to see the ending.

Not buying the season pass and I will pick this up used after a month of release. I'm not paying $80 to experience the full game. That's fucking bull shit.
