Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag DLC and season pass detailed

**** off, Ubisoft.

Never bought a season pass for any game. I don't believe in paying additional for a part of the game that should already be there.

I'm holding up my preorder (PC gamer here) till the console versions are out and reviewed. If it holds up to the promise of being a great open world pirate game (with assassins), then I'm sold. Releasing on PC a couple weeks later ended up being a good thing after all!

I made the mistake of getting the Season Pass for AC III.

I haven't even pre-ordered AC IV yet and I will not get this season pass.

Also I am not a fan of the multiplayer either so paying 60 just for ACIV isn't worth it. I'd only play half the game. I will wait until it's 30 bucks, read what happens online, or watch someone's play through if anyone actually does that for this game.

Beyond that, please cut the crap with this season pass stuff. Overall it has just been degrading for gaming.

@TrueGB AC IV's story is about Kenway as a pirate. The rest of his story is told through the AC novels. So yes Kenway's story arc is not complete in this game but the DLC does not have to do with the rest of Kenway's life.

Anyone who hates this practice, don't buy it like I do. It's the only way these things change.

How can Steam compete with them? I mean, 25% discount? I've never seen this before on Steam(Sarcasm)

But serious now, so if you preorder you will have the chance to pay less for the season pass? I know i was stupid at the time when I preordered ACIII (Because I trusted Ubisoft). But at least I got everything (Even if I couldn't play The washington king broken missions).

Translating to "Ubisoft have taken 9 missions out of the game to sell as DLC for more $"

Its a shame because I'm really liking Ubisoft at the moment. So many good games either been released recently or going to be released and they pull something like this.

Games have become the thing of greed and now are just a scam.../ This is why gaming has declined,,... Now,,,success revolves around who is best at the art of the scam.....

UBISOFT has perfected the RIPOFF....

I surely hope the DLC era will come to an end very soon. I'd rather wait for the game to be released later, pay $80 or so and be done with it. Nobody is going to boycott them for making the game more expensive, it's actually quite understandable, just don't do it this way.

Where are the days when additional content was called "expansion pack" and added some serious playtime to the game... Back when the additional content was announced months AFTER the game's release.

My opinion on DLC is that it belongs to Multiplayer games only, made so that the game doesn't get stale (i.e. not to the MPs that release annually).

Finally, even if you decide to add DLC to your game, reveal it AFTER it's release and be subtle about it, not like this...

I loved AC2, had to force myself to play AC3, now for 90$ I can play AC4...

AC3 was frustrating and fragmented. For some reason I didn't like it....

Well, this has to be for those who actually bought their previous season passes and dlcs, thus supporting a milking business practice and cutting content from main game to be sold to those who buy it. I'm really sorry for you guys, you probably think you're getting a better deal or that you're experiencing the "whole" game as it should, but you're only hurting yourself and the rest of the gaming comunity in the long run, not that you should care. Have fun with your crapfest!

The only thing related to AC black flag that I will buy is the soundtrack.I will only play the game if they happen to give it for free to PS+ members.
