Thank goodness Gamespot is here to parrot Activision press releases. I mean, if they tell you its news, then it must be news...right?

So this fall, it won't just be Black Ops 2 vs MOH: Warfighter. It'll be Avenged Sevenfold vs Linkin Park.

They shoulda got some FFDP in there thats the kind of music you want for a shooter.

love A7X but this song sounds very similar to some others of there's sad. Gotta admit my interest in BO2 is going up not because of A7X though, but because it actually looks like Treyarch are trying to do something new and if they nerf all the perks so there not if u have this u win then i might consider getting it. CoD has become whoever has the best gun and best perks wins less and less skill required thats why i love me some Halo all about skill.

Metalcore =/= metal.I love all the kids that listen to Metalcore/Hardcore s*** and think that it's metal just because there's some downtuned guitars and chunky strumming on open strings.These "musicians" would crap their pants if they heard the skill involved in any kind of progressive metal. Or any real metal for that matter. You know, where people actually learn to play technical things on their instruments that take more than two weeks of beginner lessons.But A7X and like fans are all "oooomg 3-string sweeps! yaa!" XD

To any Avenged Sevenfold fans complaining about this song, you have to remember that not only did they lose their drummer but also their best songwriter when The Rev passed away. If you look at the list of composers throughout Avenged Sevenfold's discography you will notice that The Rev either wrote or co-wrote most of their incredible stand-out tracks.

...so no, Avenged Sevenfold will not be the same going forward, but that doesn't mean they've completely lost it either.

Might as well just mute the game and play music in winamp or any other player.

The music may be bad ass, but I'm not buying 2012's Treyarch made Call of Duty 9 : Black Ops 2.

I'm sick of it, 2012's COD9 : BO2 is just ACTIVISIONs yearly COD game, using the same old graphical assets, and repackaged for $60.

Maybe I'll get it for $20 down the road, but only for the music...or maybe I'll just buy the OST assuming it's any good. I'm not supporting COD anymore. Maybe Next GEN when they are actually trying again.

Black Ops II almost had me with including Treznor's amazing musical sensibilities but again lost me with the trash-can rattling of one of modern music's greatest mistakes.

Why such a great Band have been associated on a great crap, milked franchise...???

I wonder if this game will have more Elena Siegman, loved her songs in the maps for Kino and whatever the WaW ones were.
