Bummer, that multiplayer sounded really cool, but I'm not buying it on an old system for just that feature.

@Bowser05 @fatee @dogpigfish I understand his appreciation of 'old' is kinda subjective.

Considering that Wii U version Batman: Arkham Origin will not have MP what so ever, at lease WB is giving the Wii U owners a $10 Discount. I'm still buying it on PS3 and don't get me started on that Season Pass people cause I don't care if your piss-off about it, it's optional and that's what DLC, Season Pass are optional and can buy the single player DLC if there are any good.

@EasyComeEasyGo About time someone said that in a comments section. I've only ever bought a single piece of DLC on purpose this generation (that voucher fiasco with Gears 2 GOTY doesn't count), and I've had a shit-ton of fun with the games I have.

People shouldn't get so damned bent out of shape over optional things. Now if we see core content removed for the sake of "anti-used" policies, we can turn our backs to a game just fine, like what I did with the original Arkham City release.

The only catch is that you'll have to play it on the Wii U.

It'd be nice to see all Wii U games take this approach. $50 SSB would be awesome.

@sugrim What? You do realize that Nintendo is paid from the Licenses used to build games on said console right? They don't have to foot anything, it's the publisher understanding that this is without multiplayer and makes it $10 less so people don't raise a stink if it sold at the usual $60 minus the MP.

Im just going to have to go to Gamestop, cancel my preorder and just skip this game entirely.

I'll wait to see what Rocksteady has done with the next gen Batman game they are working on.
