@nousername66 No you can't. Why is that, you might ask? It's because DICE thinks it's unfair to be able to throw a grenade at someone without the target being able to avoid being blown up. I mean, I hate when someone throws a grenade at me and I didn't even see it 'cause it blew in mid air right in front of me.

Can you cook nades in this game? I noticed during the beta that I couldn't, hope this changes.

"EA also said that the longest headshot was recorded from 635.6 meters away." If you're not up for adventure games like Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, then perhaps Headshot: The Longest Journey is more your style :P.

Those stats are a bit depressing. If the Battlefield 3 open beta was a real war, it would have been the deadliest event in human history by a massive margin.

Watch, when we play BF3 multiplayer on launch day, for whatever reason "Metro" will come up as the map every single game, always happens with FPS betas.

I would be shocked if this gets 2 million not even lying.

I think it's the most hilarious thing in the world when people complain about BF3 looking bad on the PS3, and yet no defenders of CoD ever mention how completely crappy it looks. Even the BF3 beta looked better than the CoD full release, and the BF3 beta didn't even incorporate the high res textures.

i think it would be totally be cool to compare ths game stats with actual war starts,just to see how trigger happy games are

@TigerRifle1 I'm agreeing with you dude. All I encountered in the BF3 beta were campers hiding in bushes (and glitching through walls). I love how the BF fans will rip on CoD for campers, but in my experience with CoD, they pale in comparison to what I saw in the BF3 beta. Maybe its just bad luck, but I'm only stating my experience. I'll be renting BF3 later down the road.

I wasn't one of those players, I tried playing on my Canadian account from Japan and could never connect to the servers..:( I even had the early access to the beta from buying MOH at launch..:(

The addictiveness frightened me. What with it only being one stage n all... (^_^)

And MW3 beta had "..." oh yeah they don't wanna show that its the same as MW2 with a few new features.

8.1 million? not too shabby BF3, usully beta testers account for 1/3 to 1/2 of the people who will eventually buy the game so this means BF3 will probably do arund 15mill copies PS this based on ma own research

I put over 18 hours on it you know its good when you can put 18 hours on 1 map, o and my k/d was like 2.1 but more important my w/l was over 2.0

In average to kill in BF you need 3-4 shots so about 6-7 billion shots actually hit the target. The other 40 million were just for destruction 2.0

i went and preordered the limited edition, excited to play it.

@koolr I'm assuming you've only played Operation metro, which was an extremely small map in comparison to the rest. The larger the map, the more team oriented people tend to become.

@glassesboy cod players on the beta? how original... everyone should stop comparing players (theyre just gamers) with diff style. So I spent 20hours on the Beta playing with cod fans? Not really sir

I would like to get Battlefield 3 but I don't want to install the spyware that is Origin. Until they remove the spyware and state in their terms that they will not spy on you I will never ever install Origin and if you're not dumb you would do the same. Either that or they let me get it through Steam without their Origin BS.

@koolr I didn't say BF3, I said BF, as in "Battlefield". And it's funny you know that when the game hasn't even come out yet. You're judging gameplay style from a beta sir. Most BF players, like myself, didn't bother too much with the beta, as it does not represent the game in the way it should have been. Hence the amount of CoD players that were on the beta, and chances are, are the ones that are complaining the most about the beta being the way it was. @TigerRifle1 CoD has as much instances of teamwork as in BF? That maybe your opinion, but not mine. I'm not assuming anything. I 10th prestiged in CoD4, 10th in MW2, and 15th in BO. I know how much "teamwork" there is in CoD, and how much there is in BF. You can't say which franchise has better players, because each has their style of play.

Beta and Demo is two different thing, but i will wait for a review.... I just dont wanna fall to earth, again.. I hope dev can fix it all.. They clearly dont have enough time

@BURGERgio, yeah the BETA looks so bad on the PS3, nothing to worry about when the final product came out, us console gamer will get downloadable graphical content :D
