Battlefield 3 beta enlists 8.1 million

@glassesboy BF3 does not have any"TEAM"work.THat's why it has 1,5 billion kills so easily. Its just another Run & Gun cod game. Battlefield 2 was teamwork oriented.

@glassesboy yeah all the campers in BF are skilled players that don't need to camp but do it for the team. Ok? And in MW killstreaks are the objective. So camping for objectives is ok in BF but not MW. And stop with this teamwork nonsense, there are just as many people running around doing their own thing in BF as there is in MW. And there are just as much instances of teamwork in MW as there is BF. Stop assuming that MW is purely done run and gun by everyone.

i hope they will fix these glitches

@TigerRifle1 I'm not trying to start a war here, but when it comes to camping there are 2 MAIN reasons people do it in BF & CoD. In BF it's an objective type game style, with allot of teamwork involved. Rush is especially campish because you have to defend the M Coms. In CoD people camp to get killstreak rewards. I can't think of any other reason other than they can't play very well.

@shaunchgo its funny how much crap BF3 players give MW for camping when BF is just as bad, if not worse, then MW when it comes to that.

yet sales preditions are only in the 6-8 mil range. WHATEVER. if they have 8 million in the beta test, you can bet 50-100% sales over the 8 million who bothered with the beta. NOT to mention they think COD will out sell BF3 yet on sights like AMAZON BF3 has outranked MW3 for many months now on the sales chart. not saying either is bad or good, just that the predications are crap

well like people say, its only the beta, so when the real game comes out about 2 million people would at least not have the game

I still kept my 2 copies pre-ordered one for my self and one for my nephew and My nephew is not a hardcore gamer and he knew the difference between a beta and a demo.

Played the PC beta and I enjoyed. Too bad some people on console had some problems and are complaining, a Beta is going to have problems since a Beta is basically a testing of the game.

Played the Beta... considered cancelling my pre-order due to extreme amount of camping! I figured maybe the camping was due to the "rush" mode. I hope the amount of camping I've seen in rush mode doesn't carry over to team deathmatch (my preference).

In before rank 30's on day 1 as I get destroyed with my starter equipment because I don't dedicate my life to video games. Go ahead. Thumbs me down.

Yeah, Its nuts because they had to double and triple server farms. So I'm glad we weren't finding that out on release day.

Didn't get chance to play the beta, but it sure sounds like it weeded out the true fans of the series, from the rest. Canceled pre orders because of a beta? LOL...the people that did that, trust me, you won't be missed on the battlefield.

Very Impressive!! Sucks I cant get it on launch day due to a very tight bugdet this month but I will get it next month! :D

I'm not super into FPS. This is the first Battlefield game that looks "must own" to me.

A lot of people cancelled their orders after playing the beta because they said it had too many glitches and errors. I'm guessing they don't know the difference between a beta and a demo, its a fail for them.

I wasn't sure about buying this game but after playing the beta it's easy to tell that BF3 is leagues ahead of other shooters. The beta ran perfectly fine on my computer so I don't understand where are these complaints are coming from about it not working right

That's a lot of people for a beta. Hopefully, most of those players weren't turned off by the buggy console versions. The final game--which releases in a week--should be fantastic.

I hated the PS3 beta and liked a little bit of the PC beta. Not because of bugs, but it just wasn't the way it was promised. It wasn't nearly as fun as the devs said it'd be. Of course they boosted it a lot, but it could be better.

More M-Com stations destroyed than knife kills? Just one more reason Battlefield is better than CoD.

For those who obviously dont know the meaning :A beta version is basically a test version of a software program.In any event, if you download a pre-release or beta version of a program or game, keep in mind that, since it is a test version, you may encounter problems.

I was playing battlefied with AMD's "Infinty Eye" over 3 screens. It auto dettected and went to 3 screens without having to set any video options up.Very impressed,looks amazing.Definite instant buy.

@Got2stoned you're totally right. I used to be a hard to the core ps3 fanboy( lame isn't it?) and after I got a very nice job and bought an awesome gaming PC, a xbox 360 and games, I don't complain anymore, since I can have my own impressions on any game I buy. #can'twaitforbattlefield!

I'm guessing that this game will get a solid 8.5. Even if they fix all the issues that the Beta had. Games like Deus Ex 8.5, Rage 8.5 these couldn't get 9's and I would lump Battlefield in thier with them (even with fixing the bugs). I couldn't see this game being any better than those.

If you guys are honestly sick of being peddled garbage for 60$, quit supporting developers that make trash. I'm not gonna name games and start a fanboy war, but until we refuse to buy crap, we will be given crap. And Battlefield 3 is NOT CRAP!

The beta restored my hope on console. It showed me that consoles CAN handle great graphics.

3 billion of those shots were from me. 5 of those kills were also from me.

whoooaaaa cant wait for BF3 and MW3! !@# the debate im getting both only kids that cant afford two games make it a big issue. I love the realistic feel of BF and the arcade lone wolf killing spree on MW! so quit complaining and go cut extra lawns and get the best of both worlds

Nothing against the beta, glitches and all. I just don't like 12 on 12 cluster****s.
