BioShock, Hell's Highway demoed on PSN

bioshock's demo rocked! i plaed it like 6 times!

It was a good thursday. Plus, aside from the LBP stuff we got three Socom videos including tours of the new maps Sweet!!!

Today was the best new demo in PSN for months, lots of good title, but 2 of them has been to 360 like a year a go.. anyway compare to 360 live market, only got pes 09, but i like the game, every demo out this week was quite good for both console.

I havent played BioS, and I really want the full game. and at this time there are so many great games coming out. and it's gonna be really hard on my wallet. and it's even harder for me to choose which to buy first.

i have the 360 version got 100% in just 2 weeks ill be renting this one, but an awesome game indeed

The nba 2k9 demo was fantastic but very short (i was killing with my boy kobe). I played the bioshock demo and it was cool. I was surprised of how long it was, i'm gonna buy it after i buy socom, 2k9, lil big, resistance, and fallout, killzone, re5, and hopefully the price will drop by then. I wish i had money for everygame i want.

From just playing the demo of Bioshock on the PS3 I found: - Better atmospher with dense air and subtle particle effects. - Better lightning and blurr effects. - Rock solid frame rate. - Some ugly textures here and there. - S*#t antialiasing, it's really noticeable this problem particulary in the underwater journey on the chamber... just sad... But at the end I don't give a f*ing f*@%! I will buy this game.

Wow EA, You wont have to pay if you buy new, Another way to make sure they get your $$ because if you buy used they don't see a penny. EA on top of the DLC. Just another reminder why I havnt bought an EA published game in 2 years and counting.

Sweet, going to get the BiA demo tomorrow morning. Just curious, is the Bioshock demo basically same as the PC/360, as far as the part it shows?

The add-on for Live 09 is only if you don't buy the game new. The new copies are shipped with an activation code to enter in the game, says it in the Demo intro video and the add-on description. GameSpot should have explained that...

Playstation Store is terrific. I think that if they really push their PS Classics line up they can outdo Xbox Marketplace 10 Fold since Sony has that extra generation under their belt.

i dont know where to start downloading so many great things came today.

@skywalker333, correct. like in gtaIV, if you played it at any friends house that has a 360, you would see the clear difference in what seems to be the lighting. im not sure if i like or dislike it, i just know its definitely different. it also could be attributed to the extensive amount of reprogramming that has to be done in order to convert a game over to another console.

Generic_Dude, this happens in all PS3 games. its the type of the engine that its different and so all multiplatforms look brighter when played on PS3.

@lozvil Get a new hard drive or replace the one you have now, it just take sa nromal laptop drive and does not break warranty.

@bleigh316: No, when you buy the full game, you get an unlock key to buy the Live 365 DNA thing, or whatever it's called. If you don't have the game, then you can buy it for $19.99 and it functions as a kind of "Fantasy Football" type thing, but for Basketball.

Bioshock demo plays great on PS3... but is it just me or does it look a bit different? It's almost as if it was made brighter, which I'd find to be a pretty odd choice.

So despite the fact that in the Live 09 demo they were hyping Live 365 to update your game daily, it costs $19.99 on top of the $60 to get the game?!? Without playing the 2K9 demo, I'd rather get NBA 2K9.
