C&C3 360 dated, demo confirmed

If MS really wants RTSs to be successfull on their console, they'd release a mouse and keypad peripheral for the 360. Then the control scheme question will become completely moot. I played BFMEII on my 360 and PC and while the 360 control scheme worked well for a console, it still pales in comparision to the mouse and keyboard.

PC fans have to sit down and shut up, we all know your scared by this but we real gamers don't want to have to hear about every five minutes. The PC fan boys keep on whinning about console games being pricier but I did some calculations and to keep up with PC hardware and buy a new game every month it would cost 1704 CDN a year where as it would only cost 960 CDN a year for console games. This is of course after the initial investment to buy a machine (which a PC will cost way more by the way). By buying console games I can get 9.3 new release games a year, now that's what I'm talking about.

This is the reason why the 360 is winning this console war. Now im 100% sure im going to buy a 360 over a PS3

I'm totally picking up the 360 version. I have it for my system, but my card is weak. Look forward to playing through the game in all it's glory next month

Well, it worked well enough for Battle for M.E. II, and if they improve/streamline the controls even more for this one, I'm getting it! Xbox Live for matchmaking will make this one superior in my book (actaully, it'll probably just make up for the control shortcommings, which, while definitley good, wont' be quite as good as a mouse and keyboard), not to mention that my PC sucks so this'll get me a much prettier / smoother game without much hassle.

i should buy 360 version because my graphics card is not so good. also hope that controls are good in 360

console games might be more expensive, but consoles are a lot cheaper than pc's

If the controls are mapped well, 360 it is. This is the deciding factor if i want to buy it on pc or 360.

terran when did the playstation own the C&C series, please think before you post it is a PC game, yes the PS1 had a C&C game but it never sustained the franchise. People should get used to the fact that more games are going to come to the 360 than the PS3 because of its larger base

Hell yea cant wait plus they didnt still it ea bought westwood and have the rights for the game if anything they stole it from the pc but as everyone knows the 360 is becoming a pc n is owned by a pc company

I've gone through every map (skirmish and campaign) on the PC version. If I ever have extra money again, I'll buy myself a 360 . . . and probably every other next=gen console out there. What can I say? I'm a hardcore gamer. I hope that this game translates well to the 360!! And I hope you all enjoy it!! Happy gaming. :)

Generic_Dude, you should look at Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle-earth II, thats on the 360 and the controls work very nicely, but i advise you do the tutorial

I'm very eager to see how they translate the controls to Xbox 360 -- my expectations are low, due to previous experiences with these sorts of games on consoles, but nonetheless it's only a matter of time before someone gets it right, isn't it?

Doh!!! I thought it was going to be in the fall so I already bought the PC version. After playing it a lot I'm thinking I would just as soon have it on the 360 with Xbox Live and all. Personally I think this will work on a console. Supreme Commander, which is TOTALLY AWESOME, would not work on a console but C&C3 should do alright. I'd kind of like to get a break from the PC now and then for RTS. I push the mouse around enough in SC.

awesome. the demo will hopefully change people who are on the fence. I think it can be done on consoles and hopefully EA proves it
