Castlevania: Lords of Shadow PC demo available tomorrow

Konami launching demo July 31 through Steam for Ultimate Edition of upcoming action title; full game due August 27.

Konami will release a demo for the Ultimate Edition of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on PC tomorrow, the company announced through the game's Facebook page recently. Mercury Steam's action game was originally released only for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010.

Lords of Shadow for PC, due out in full on August 27, will include expansions Reverie and Resurrection, as well as 1080p graphics at 60 frames per second.

The game will be available on Steam, where players can unlock achievements and make use of cloud saves.

In addition, Lords of Shadow for the PC features new storylines, weapons, skills, battles, and environments not found in the original console game.

WOW!!! If I would have believed in Destiny / Fate or any other thing like that I would be having an orgasm right now because of how meant to be this feels.

Last night I had an AMAZING scary adventure kind of dream, I was in a place that looks like hell and I was fighting creepy creatures and the dream felt like it was a whole night.

It gave me such a need for a game exactly like this, I thought about Dark Souls, but I really hate the combat & graphics and the environment is nothing like it is in the dream.

Also this gives me more hope in the PC gaming race :)

This is awesome news. I already know I will be buying the game on August 27, but getting to play a demo tomorrow is going to be so nice. It's one of my favorite games on consoles and I always wished for a PC version so that I could play it with a fluid framerate and beautiful image quality.

@kalipekona @frozenux it depends, I would not mind getting a game twice if the PC version is solid I always go for PC, for some strange reason (even thou I have a Xbox 360) I kinda disregarded this game and it went under my rader very fast even thou I remember people saying it is very epic and has an awesome story and a long campaign. If the game is good I dont mind having it on many platforms, one of the games I have a lot is Resident Evil 2 (I collect that one I think I am only missing the SourceNext PC release of that) :D Its that good ! Anyway I played through the Metal Gear Revengeance demo and the Castlevania demo on the Xbox marketplace and I thought to myself "wow what a truly shame those games didnt make it to the PC" and still here we are now :D

Well, everyone should have a gaming PC, but a lot of people have weaker PCs not built for gaming. A lot of them don't realize that they could probably upgrade their PCs for relatively little money.

There are some people, though, that use things like netbooks and tablets.

Oh well. PC gaming is amazing and I wouldn't ever want to be without it.

Its only 22 Euro till its launch on 27 August and its the Goty edition with all DLCs, runs at 60 FPS and has higher resolutions and graphic settings, also plug a wired Xbox 360 gamepad into your USB and enjoy ! It will be definitely the best version out there, sorry if you are avid Wii U user tho :[

How about a release date on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, please? If I can be greedy, a demo on PSN/XBL?

First Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was a great game, one of the most underrated games I've played in awhile. I almost skipped it myself, but needed a 3rd game for the buy 2 get 1 free game deal, Toys R Us often has around Christmas. If you haven't played it, I recommend picking it up cheap before the sequel comes out supposedly this fall.

Are you retarded? I'm a pc gamer, stupid. I also have a monthly limit on how much I can download on the internet from Cox. Also, the game is probably over 8 gig and would take about 2 hours to download and if I have several games on steam then I'll have to redownload everything if my computer is destroyed or I buy a new computer which would take about a day instead of having it on disc. Lastly, you're a moron.
