Days Gone first launched on PS4 in 2019, earning mixed reviews for its unique zombie apocalypse storyline and engaging combat. Bend Studio is now giving the game a fresh coat of paint, as Days Gone Remastered is heading to PS5 and PC on April 25. Preorders are now open for the remaster, which features not just new graphics, but also DualSense support, new accessibility features, a survival arcade mode, and more. That should make it the best way to experience Days Gone in 2025. The new version will cost $50 on PS5 and PC, but current owners of the game can get a full upgrade for just $10, and new players can use this upgrade path to save a few bucks on the PS5 version if they pick up a PS4 copy while they're on sale.
