The model would have to be done right, but I definitely think there could be potential in the general concept for certain types of game....

<< LINK REMOVED >> DLC done wrong in my view in content left out of the game on day 1 to get a little extra money out of consumers after they already bought the game such as Javik in Mass Effect 3. Either that or Capcom's endless locked-on-disc DLC. We don't even know what the DLC for DR3 will be right now but it had best be good to warrant the season pass price.

<< LINK REMOVED >> I have no problem with DLC, if done right. Capcom clearly doesn't do it right. They purposefully take things out form the game, sell it to you later. Hell, sometimes they don't even take it out of the game, just lock it from use and sell you the unlock key. If this DLC is coming out a mere month after release it's obviously content they scrapped. And the big problem with that lies here: Not only are you getting screwed out of content, but you're being charged the rate for it's development once on the initial purchase and twice if you actually pick it up. It's dirty, dirty, dirty. Kinda surprised people still defend this stuff.
