Dragon Age III for next-gen in 2014?

So how is tranfering your saves going to work if it is a next gen title? It shouldn't be a problem for us PC gamers but sadly I don't see bioware adding adding a save transfer feature only to the PC version.

Now I can button-mash in enhanced visuals. :)

why bioware reputation is damaged? because of me 3 ending? ooh yes you could not find anything else to rage in mass effect games, you are funny.

I have a feeling they are going to do this one right. There has been so much negative backlash from DAII that if they screw this up they are going to have a major setback. It will be piled on to the ME3 debacle. So that would be two, one more and Bioware would officially be in the shitcan. They are very, very close already, though.

I've lost faith in Bioware and EA. Whereas once upon a time I would buy this without having even seen a screenshot or a review, now I'm to the point I won't even be looking at this unless someone comes out and tells me it's returned to its roots that it had in DA:origins. Dragon Age 2 was a cheap and shameless title that played the fans of the original game for fools. I won't be fooled again. The annoying thing is that, like a lot of the fans of DA, I bought DA2... so to bioware/EA they see me as a statistic of being a purchase... do they care that I was bitterly disappointed with the title? no, they got my money, that's all they care about. So I'll do the only thing in my power, not buy the game until they show me that it has truly returned to what made Origins the fantastic game it was.

I'm willing to bet it's coming out for all consoles including PS3 and X360

Stop living in Dream gamespot and Console fans, your next gen won't arrive till 2015 i bet. as For Dragon age 3 That's too fast if you ask me they started working in may and they are rushing seems like they did with 2nd game..

i stopped getting excited by Bioware news after DA2. interestingly though i got excited again after ME3. not because i want to play their games. no no. but because i want to witness their next failure. playing the fiddle while Rome burns is kinda fun!

EA hadn't exited me and my dashed my hopes, with Dragon Age 2. If this becomes a next gen title, it would be even more likely to be a rushed production, as EA seeks to capitalise by having this as a launch title. I have low expectations, but hope to be proved wrong.

I am not too big on RPG's but thier reviews and trailers caught my attention so am getting the DA, Skyrim and Darksouls they cheap now right

Drumming up the hype and then coming up short. That's the BioWare way these days. Don't expect your entire fanbase to make the switch to next gen.

So far this game sounds good, it gets better every time I hear about it! I'm not comparing to DA2 cause, well... I haven't even seen any gameplay yet, lol.

2014 is too long. I already lost some fate in my other two favorite series in resident evil and diablo. The only game I plan on playing soon was dragon age3 when it came out. It better be as good as origin then.

Dragon Age 2 wasn't that bad. The re-used dungeons just made it seem worse. I just think their biggest mistake was not making a direct sequel to Origins. Sure they released DLC for Origins, but apart from the HUGE Awakening DLC, it wasn't that great. I would rather have seen the Warden's story continue. I really enjoyed the story and grew attached to the memorable characters. Would've been nice to have journeyed with a few of them over the course of the 3 games to see their relationships grow like in the Mass Effect Trilogy. Was kind of sad to see them reduced to pointless cameos in DA2. Not to mention Hawke, who I just didn't care for.

And it will be shit b/c it is an EA IP now...

Why the hate for DA2? I know that it's not great, but it's not HORRIBLE F***S***TURD as some people might claim it.

Sure, it's worse than DA:O, but the enjoyment was still there.

Shocking. Anyway, I thought Dragon Age was outstanding and exceptionally immersive. I didn't bother to buy the second one so I can spare my high opinion of the series. This better be good. Also, imagine how spells will look on Frostbite.

Makes sense to make it next gen. It seems BioWare wants to make DA3 right this time, listening to the fans, etc.

We can only hope they make it good.

origins was sick. da2 wasn't anywhere near as good... but i gotta stay loyal... tryin to stay hopeful!

It'll be hard for them to make a third one to get our minds away from the turd that was DA2. The wound is still fresh.

I would've been so excited for this 2 years ago. But with DA2's actionization and ea's drama with origin and other stuff, I find myself doubting I'll get it on sale. Kinda a pity. The first dragon age was a great rpg, plenty of depth, compelling world and story. Had me looking forward to this new series. Now all I feel is blah.

My standards have gotten pretty low since DA2.. I still enjoyed that game very much.. I guess there's nothing so terrible they could do now to me with DA 3.. unless they pull off an "Uncarded: Flight from Fortune".. w/c isn't realistic.
