Evolve Announcement Might Be Coming Soon [Update]

People still play this? I haven't heard a word about this game since it was released.

F2P would make sense. A wide range of players and customisable options. When i played the Beta, it was enough.

I really enjoyed this game when it came out, but seriously it needed more content and I wasn't about to spend more money on the game to get it. I think this will go down as the biggest example of how not to sell a game.

When they start paying people to play this garbage, let me know. Until then, this game is horse shit.

Free to play I'd imagine, the game was doomed from the start. Having a silly mess around game like Left 4 Dead with public match making is fine but having something like Evolve was just fail from the moment they thought it up. Pugging in a game where teamwork is KEY never ends well, especially on the EU region where there are SOOOO many different languages spoken.

So what am I hoping for? a better match making system, like that will ever happen.

Worst full-price purchase I ever made. I had fun in the beta, enough to made me buy it. But the gameplay got tiresome after just a couple of days. The concept was good, the art direction is awesome, but the minute to minute gameplay of the main modes just doesn't stay interesting. For comparison sake, Overwatch has even less content (modes/maps) but it still is fun, after 60+ hours of play, Evolve I shelved after 15 (+10 in beta).

Not a fan of online focused shooters to be honest, but we all have our tastes.

Plus, with D00M out that covers my Single Player FPS fix for awhile :)

Free is still overpriced for that trash.

F2P is a solid guess. Really, that game has nowhere else to go. Last I heard the online lobbies were a barren wasteland devoid of any signs of civilization. Maybe you found another player, but mostly you'd have to subsist on rats and cans of dog food until another wandering player momentarily appeared and disappeared.

F2P could be a very smart move, especially to reignite interest in a MUCH better sequel that hopefully lacks an abysmal marketing campaign (and gets post release DLC too).

Some new fucking maps would be nice. We got one since launch right?
