Wow.....i was undecided before, now....Xbox One is my console of choice.

All i want in the new generation is the ability to redeem codes really really fast....games are for morons, redeeming codes fast is the future. Now, i understand, this is why Krapnetic is in every XBone.

Cool feature, but tbh I had my console for like 6 years and I've only used like 5-6 codes so...

I'm a PlayStation guy but that feature is handy as hell, punching in the codes can be a bit tedious. That said, scanning QR codes with Kinect still doesn't really justify the £80 difference between the consoles :P Camera is still yet to be proved in terms of actually gaming quality (which to be honest I don't think can ever be fulfilled without a Virtual Reality headset to go with it).

Both systems will pretty much play the same games anyway and the PS4 is the cheaper option. It's just opinions though! Halo guys and gals are going to stick with MS, Naughty Dog fans stick with Sony.

That's pretty nifty. Still not interested in the slightest in buying the system, or in ever using Kinect for anything, but I must admit that's nifty.

Cool that will be better than having to type in the damn codes. I already use the same feature in itunes where it uses my built in web camera to read the code and it works pretty well.

they want to make it as easy as possible for you every time you turn on the xbone and it ask for your credit card before you watch TV.

Must be the new xbone Kinect fitness game they've been secretly developing for the Kinect...lol. He looks like a robot turning at just the right interval, with his arms at the right height. God man, why not integrate this into smartglass so we can scan with our phones or tablet. Seems like another failed attempt to justify superkinect.

In 8years time we'll be spitting if consoles don't have newer or better features! Just go back 8years and think of our phones then!

We always have a spit at new things but then we actually try it and think oh that's cool! Then if the next one doesn't have we go "oh where's this feature and why can't it do this anymore!"

Exactly why Apple is so far ahead they sell not very well made lower spec hardware with tones of better features and the market eats it up!

Samsung on the other hand has better made products with far better specs and they're selling for margins cheaper but at the end of the day doesn't have as many features and is only trailing behind!

Just proves features are what people want and even if we're telling ourselves we don't we always end up with the thing we get more out of regardless of what we think is cheaper..cause cheaper doesn't mean anything when something that costs more has more features and something "more" catches the eye of the buyer!

I think it's pretty awesome, saves me time from typing 25 digits. If the haters really can say it's unneeded then I truely believe they're lying. No one wants to type those damn codes out.

@SIDEFX1 $3000 - $4000 Tv's for those features aren't going to be the norm for the average person! 32" 3D LED Full HD TV worth $800 is more the price range for people that most likely already have something of that kind then spending such ridiculous amounts for those new TV features...and then the cost of a console which TV's cannot do at all, I'm talking gaming!

If I didn't already have a massive TV I'd be more likely to want to buy a new TV for $800 and an XONE to have all that for a 1/4 the price of just the TV to have those features you deem okay just for the TV to have but a console is so bad?

I'd hate to not have all the features my phone has now compared to 8yrs ago!

Good Feedbackula topic. Here we have a nice, new feature for the X1. Is it an awesome feature that will change the world of gaming? No, of course not, but it's still nifty and (assuming it works) is undeniably a good thing. And yet the console warriors STILL try to spin it! I'm starting to wonder if these "fanboys" and "haters" might actually be a bunch of folks in a Marketing 101 course.

This kind of stuff was supposed to happen with the original Kinect.
