MY GOODNESS!! Aweful when a potentially horrible system is getting exclusives! LOL I wasn't even planning on getting a Xbox one for a few years after launch anyway, but after hearing its rumors I don't really think I will be missing much. I don't usually buy systems on launch however.

Well now you've spun all of that cable and skype shit into it, they had better make it tonnes of GREAT exclusives or I'm going PS4.

They have to have tons of exclusives. It's the only way to get people to buy the machine really. If you want to play some COD exclusive then it's their way or the highway. If the next Fallout game or Elder Scrolls is XO or PS4 exclusive then i'm just screwed i guess. I'm done with consoles. RROD. Crummy d/ls on PS3. I must've pizzed thru 2 or 3 each of 360s and PS3s. Everything works smooth and slick on the commercials. Then ya get it home...

whats the point of having tons of exclusives if the hardware sucks? the dreamcast, which was a superior system, had many exclusives and ended up dying.

When the entire staff "roundtable" at Gamespot said "no one cares about BC, and if they do they'll get over it", I realized at that point that all those people are blithering idiots.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Microsoft will have to unveil about the new system and any exclusive content that they will provide because I'd like to take everything into account before making a decision on which to go for. However, at the moment Sony's PS4 is in the lead in my mind. I hope all my Xbox Fanboy friends can take everything into account as well and go with the better system like me so we can game together since game creators now a days feel it is unnecessary to add split-screen co-op play to their games. :p

Anyone who was expecting nothing but games at MSoft's conference today was just being stupid. Today was their day to do what Sony didn't: show off the actual console and push their strategy of making it an all-in-one entertainment device.

Now, if they don't show significantly more games, including all these exclusives they claim to have, at E3 this year, then you can bitch, and rightfully so. A smart consumer waits until they know all the facts about the separate consoles before throwing their lot in with just one. That's what I'm doing.

I knew full well it was not going to be called the 720 Eddie Makuch needs the sack as he forever protested the fact it would be now hes gonna go on with hes failures and keep a job well i hope a polish person steals it. :D

I hope you all realize that today's reveal won't be full of games or new IP's. They said it would be split into 2 sections, today's reveal being more about the console itself and then E3 being all about the games.

I expect today they will show off the console, any new tech/online features it offers, the new kinect 2, and focus more it's abilities rather than the games available for it.

Well I certainly don't like that news. Exclusives will be good for Microsoft but bad for the gamer. I don't want to be required to buy a specific console in order to enjoy good games; that feels like an ultimatum to me. Consoles are supposed to be convenient, but I think this sort of thing is starting to chip away at the convenience. Personally, I've decided to try and skip the next generation of console politics.

I have to agree people, I am looking forward to the PS4 release, I am an Xbox 360 fanboy owning a 360 right now, but it's going in the wrong direction for me with Infinity, and I am looking for the PS4 to fill the void. Nintendo is falling into the dust slowly, some great Japanese games that they could port to Wii U, if they did that I would get the Wii U this year. Too bad Nintendo, you won't learn will you.

tons of exclusives, or timed limited exclusives? Beyond Forza, Gears and Halo, I fail to see what exclusives may be there.

Xbox has Halo, Gears of War while Sony has Killzone, God of War. I will be buying both console and I hope there will be more good games
