Microsoft teases Master Chief's return to Halo

i swear they said that "Halo ODST would be the last Halo game+have no master chief in it", maybe they changed their minds 2 make the fans happy :) and probably r making halo 4 :P

Contrary to popular belief You don't have to finish it on legendary to see Master Chief is still alive. Just because he did not manage to make it off the half of the ship that made it through the rift in space does not mean he's dead. If you wait until after the credits you'll see otherwise. If you've got to pee before then make sure you pause the game before you complete that final jump you have to make? and empty your tank then when you're done relieving yourself? Unpause the game and be patient.

No suprise here. Microsoft would have to be insane to end Master Cheifs story after all the money they made. Just look how many games Grand Theft Auto has made. I'm sure that there will be at the least 5 more halo games in various forms. Didn't they say halo 3 was the end of the trilogy? So, maybe they are going to start a 2nd trilogy, huh. Who's with me?!

lool eljono Master Chief doesn't die, just watch the scene after the credits you will see it and yes Master Chief is a lot like the mascot for Microsoft like Mario is for Nintendo but there is a lot we don't know about the world in which Master Chief lives and if you watched the ending after the credits you would notice some sort of planet is beyond the horizon so that could prove to be a story point.

They never said Halo 3 would be the end. They said it would be the end of the current story arc. We very well COULD have more high-flying run-and-gun adventures with our good friend Master Chief. They just won't be on Halo.

It doesn't take any more than common sense to realize there will be ANOTHER HALO at some point,like a full blown Halo game--whether it's a completely different story,or whether it's a prequel-takes place before Halo 1,maybe even Halo 4--MS would have to come out and say "hehe,we lied,but we know you're going to by this" loloolololol:)

Love it or hate it there are gonna be many more Halo games in the years to come. I dont blame em really, Master Chief is to Microsoft what Mario is to Nintendo. I could see there being more plotlines out here, like what happened to "Missing" Spartans etc etc etc. To say that Halo is past its Expiration Date would be like me saying that Metal Gear Solid has done the same... which might i add is completely incorrect. As long as the Mario, Halo, MGS franchises sell well they will keep making more, its as simple as that.

I'm telling you guys, Ghosts of Onyx was all a lead up to the fourth game in the Halo series. The left GoO open at the end, and left Halo 3 open at the end, with Chief's half of the Dawn is coming towards a mysterious planet... cough Onyx cough...

I still think they should remake their game Pathways into Darkness, or at least have someone do that.

Halo Wars is solid, i don't get why people bash it. For me it is the best suited RTS for the console, for you can jump in and play without a huge learning curve.

I laugh at the people who honestly think Halo is Bungie's only successful series. Maybe if you knew what you were talking about you would know of the existence of the Marathon Trilogy which was quite successful and is still being played by it's fans to this day and that in many ways Halo is the spiritual successor to Marathon.

Please, oh, pleasssseeeee don't screw this up Microsoft if you make one. If they do come out with this, then this may be the first 360 game I would want since I got my PS3.

Halo isn't everything Microsoft has, another major series exclusive to the Xbox is Gears of War, and personally i enjoy the multiplayer and campaign better on that game! Though from time to time you do get laggy matches in gears, the multiplayer is much more efficent at giving adrenaline rushes and becoming extremely competitive. I guess you could say Gears is more for the Competitive player. Still halo 4? i knew this was comming when i beat the game on legendary and hopefully it will set fps standards again, and if not well dissapointment again!
