Secure your high-end system now at Amazon or GameStop.
Following Sony's announcement of the PlayStation 4 Pro console today, the souped-up system is now available to preorder at retailers.

The PS4 Pro does not replace the existing PS4, but will instead live alongside it. The PS4 Pro has a 1 TB hard drive, doubled GPU power, and technology adapted from AMD Polaris graphical architecture. These allow the PS4 Pro to reach resolutions "not thought possible on consoles" in 2016, " PS4 system architect Mark Cerny said. The CPU clockspeed has also been boosted.
However, the PS4 Pro does not have a 4K Blu-ray drive.
The PS4 Pro wasn't the only console Sony announced today. The company also confirmed the rumored PS4 Slim. The smaller version of the PS4 launches next week for $300. Additionally, a firmware update for all PS4s, dating back to launch models, will unlock HDR support.
