PSP gets Greatest Hits

lol this is like when one-hit wonders release greatest hits compilations before Xmas. well-meaning grandmas will buy them and then they will hog the bargain bins two weeks later.

This is relatively good news for me. Cheaper games are ALWAYS good news to me, heheh. Now, if they'd only drop to price of the system to $150 -- I might buy a PSP within the next year or so if it drops to that price.

IMO Hot Shots Golf is the best game on the psp.

I saw the greatest hits version of Battlefront 2 at target last week. I guess they put it in the case a little early.

I wanted to pick up wipeout on launch but instead got ridge racer, I think this weekend I will be spending the dough on Hot Shots golf, wipeout pure, and last but not tekken today!!! already having too much fun with socom and syphon filter

Black Ice Joe..... Hots Shot Golf is easily one of the best games on PSP.... Top 3 in my book Wow! That's really saying something when one of the top 3 PSP games is nothing more than a golf simulator.

I guess I will wait a little longer to pick up Star Wars Battlefront II then.I own Wipeout Pure, Twisted Metal: Head On, Ape Escape: On the Loose.so the only game that is 20 dollors that I might pick up is Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee. I hope its good.

The PSP get sooooo much flack from people, and I just don't know why. I don't own one, because I just don't care for portable gaming much, but I've used one a few times and DS, and gameboy, and it's pretty clear the PSP is superior by FAR to the others. The fact that it doesn't have the nintendo portable machine churning out games behind it, doesn't make it less of a handheld. For people complaining about "new" vs "old"... the quality of the "old" that comes out for the psp is just more entertaining than say... Monster Rancher XVIII. When you break down to truly good games released per year, I'd say nintendo and sony are about tied for their handhelds, except that Nintendo has so many ALREADY. Oh... but of course, they are old. As if that matters. I still play tetris on my phone...

Just got Midnight Club 3 in the greatest hits package, best buy is already selling it. I think the greatest hits will help selling the psp, i hope they get gta lcs soon.

Bout time. Will probably only benefit people buying system and picking 1st game to get.

People like ajac, try the psp properly before you even think of being negative. I've too have enjoyed the look and feel of more than just a scattering of psp games. Every console/system ever made has had bad, cheap and useless games, but in this case the PSP undercuts the usual public rumours+opinions with some good enjoyable titles.

I have enjoyed a lot more PSP games than just those four. Such as Daxter, Exit, Baito Hell 2000, Mega Man Powered Up, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, Tales of Eternia, Valkyrie Profile, Metal Gear Acid, Metal Gear Acid 2, Loco Roco, Tekken: Dark Resurrection, Guilty Gear XX #Reload, Pursuit Force, Darkstalkers Chronicles, Gradius Collection, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Field Commander, Kingdom of Paradise, Hot Shots Golf, etc. Anyway, there have been a lot of good games on PSP to me personally, but I play a lot of games.

Yeah!:o this is probably the only way they can get games to sell:o :o

Awesome. I'm still waiting for DS game prices to drop. Nintendo is horrible with that... I still see GBA games over a year old for $29.99!!! Games like Mario 64 shouldn't be over $20 now, seriously. People say PSP games are expensive. Most are 5 dollars more than DS games, and one year later alot cheaper than most DS games. Ah well, I'm gonna go pick up Ridge Racers eventually.

ya, JP program has been out for a while. picked up (greatest hits) lumines when i got my white PSP back in December.

Sony shud drop the PSP price to 150 this christmas and get a lot more of these Budget games....then they wud hav a better holiday than the good last year...i definently think PSP can close the narrow gap made by DS Lite

All craptastic games! At least in a year field comamnder GTA Liberty city will both be on thier.

dam, i just bought twisted metat head on, but i matched the price at best buy to another place that was selling the game for 25 bucks, so i only lost like 5 bucks.

If they keep dropping prices on PSP games, I might have to get one eventually.

With so few good games on the system as it is, this will probably only help the very few people that are going to buy the system in the future since everyone that already owns it most likely already has them.

there are some good games for PSP. I don't have one, but people just seem to dog it a lil too much. I mean the only game I've really played on it was lumines, but the system is still being explored becasue it's just about the first handheld that can really give the home systems a run for their money.....
