Rockstar renews Agent trademarks

I'm really lookin forward to this. I love spy fiction, what's the hold-up??

I tried following AGENT from just the brief story behind it , but , long since then I have wondered about building off of RDR with JM's son ? to bad the game did not go back into the days of indians , but , then that would be offensive , that kind of history belongs only on tv I guess ? ... R* always manages to come up with something very good ... so I be shutting my pie hole ...

I wouldn't mind playing AGENT although I wouldn't be too disappointed if it got cancelled like The Getaway 3, now I really wanted to play that game :(

I doubt its coming out. They more than likely renewed the trademark so they didn't lose it.

The game was annonced in 2007, not in 2009 (see the date of the "2009" article). That is the same summer I kept watching GTA IV teasers.

This game would probably be better suited for xbox one and rockstar tapping into the cloud. Or if it stays sony exclusive wait until Sony gets there cloud going. Plus I can see this game using multiple devices (ipads, phones and etc...) to help or hinder other players. I say the cloud because wasn't this the game where you could send out agents to gather intel? Hence you could be doing work on another device to aid yourself when away from your console/pc.

Well yeah, this isn't news. Whether or not they're working on it, they pretty much have to renew the trademark, or they'll lose it.

Sony pays the bucks for Rockstar, Microsoft pays bucks for Activision,and Capcom. I think a good Rockstar exclusive would be good for Sony.

Good. I was afraid this game was dead. I wonder if Rockstar North is still the studio for this game and we're finally hearing something about it again because GTA5 is nearly out.

A game I don't care about anymore. Seriously, This is the only time Rockstar pissed me off. Brought a PS3 strictly for this, MGS4 and FF13 Versus. I only got one of those three games this generation.

@Cl0ud @Srenuka14 that's because the 360 has almost no exclusive games even worth playing so 360 players mostly buy multiplats but the ps3 has heaps of great exclusives
