@jerger_gs: The single player Missions Mode consists of 4 modes thus far: Survival, Battles, Hero Battles and Trials, and they can all be played solo/co-op online/offline. All of the Missions modes are against Bots/AI.

Survival is a Horde mode (have to survive 15 waves of enemies) against bots

Battles has not been explained thus far

Hero battles has to do with you playing as a Hero/Villain. (against bots)

Trials mode will be a type of training mode for the online modes (against bots).

Additionally you can tailor the difficulty setting of the bots. I dont particularly like Online MP only games either, but from what Ive seen, even the online MP looks very co-op centered (you partner with your buddy and stick with him for the match).

There are 4 planets and at least one map for each planet for each Survival mode. DICE is also toying with day/night cycles of the same level, hence there seems to be hours of content for the Single player enthusiast. Additionally, the replay value for this game will most likely be very high since you can tailor the difficulty to your preference. I think both online and offline folks will be very happy with the game...

edit: Just in, you can also race your speeder bikes against bots...

@jerger_gs: if it's like the old ones then there would be bots in all modes. I don't think that's the case though.

@lnception: Not like it will matter come launch. There will still be server problems.

@cboye18: Right....because it's so much better seeing the same 5 teammates camping the vehicle spawn while everyone else plays the match normally? That's so immersive.

@mr_azim: that's kind of the point of the open beta - to test how much stress they can take.
