Think I have all the games I want right now so not that excited (for a change) of course I'll have a smooch over the offerings but don't plan on breaking the bank - already got FC4, ACU and Alien Isolation about 5 hours each in - wish I could just finish one........but that's another story

Time to buy 2 games out of the hundreds that go on sale because of lackluster discounts on things we actually want.

I miss the old Steam holiday sales.

Last year there were some CRAZY deals, also some of a big joke. I'll be ready.

Well true that i bought everyth i wanted last sale. but i will definitely be checking this one ... maaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe, there will be a bundle of call of duty games (except the new one since its new) with like 80% off, or 80% off the Total war gold bundle. that would be interesting. or even a surprise where steam brings Diablo 3 and offers it with 80% off. :)

Only game I want right now on Steam is the original Far Cry, 2-4 are dumbed down, generic, open world Ubiclones.

I have most of the games I want right now (that will actually go on sale), so I'll probably check out the offerings, but more than likely will be passing on purchasing anything this time around. There are 1 or 2 titles I may snag if they go on sale.

There's a Paypal promo, you have to submit a form to get it, Nov 24 to Dec 2. You make one initial purchase, in past years it could just be something small, and after that every purchase you get 5% cash back into your Paypal account. There are some rules, I think the stores you buy from have to be US/Canada, and some other terms like maximums. Go to the Paypal home page and there's an ad for it.

My wallet is still traumatized from the last sale. Gonna have to check with his therapist on this one.

I just buy what I think I'll have time to play. Prices on games usually go down over time so why buy any sooner than I can actually play the game? It's not like they won't offer it for sale again in a few months, probably at a lower price.
