Steam Fall Sale Starts This Week -- Report

PayPal email indicates Steam Fall Sale starts on Wednesday.

It looks like the Steam Fall sale is kicking off this Wednesday, November 26, which is either the best or worst news depending on how much money you have in your wallet.

Valve hasn't made an official announcement, but an email from PayPal (via VG247) encouraged customers to stock up on Steam Wallet codes from the PayPal Digital Gift store, saying the Steam Fall Sale will run from November 26 to December 1.

Not a huge surprise given that the sale started around the same time last year, running through Black Friday and ending right after Cyber Monday. Last year, the sale included general sales in place until the end of the promotion, Daily Deals that last for 48 hours, and Flash Sales that changed every eight hours.

My thoughts are now confirmed,steam does not want me to have a life.I just bought a 220 € graphics card and not lot of money left and now i have to choose beetween cheap games i really want or keep money so i can go out with my friends.

I recently got Worms Armageddon(all time classic....probably the 2nd game I had the most fun playing with friends...I once peed my pants while playing on LAN with my roommate....there was like a 1mm hole and I was stuck in a cave...the frigging sheep went through that tiny gap and exploded my friend even though all odds were against me....he heard me laugh like a crazy mofo and then 10secs later after the lag settled, he understoof why I was laughing!!!)

I have like 20 something games on Steam, and I got my gaming rig 1 month ago

<< LINK REMOVED >><< LINK REMOVED >> yup, it happens. I needed an upgrade to my laptop about 5 months ago and decided to get a gaming one, a gtx 870m gpu that's more or less on par with a PS4. I discoverted the amazing world of Steam and PC gaming, with big sales and amazing game bundles...

Long story short, in 5 months I've bought +100 games for the price of 2 console games, a lot of AAA games, some that I owned or rented on my 360 but can now play at 60 fps and better graphics for a whole new experience... I am also using my 360 wired controller for a seamless experience for a lifelong console user.

However... now that I have a bigger library than all of my previous console games COMBINED, I find a restraint... TIME. I have just completed 15 games in this 5 months, so yeah, I would need about 3 months of paid vacation to manage to finish most of my library lol.

And that's why I will try not to look at the next Seam Sales... I will try, I must try...

They do have great deals. I switched because I've been missing on so many great Pc titles in the past years, and the price tag for ps4 and xbox one is ludicrous considering their game library and yearly subscription.

I also game with a wireless logitech controller from my couch! viva HDMI and flat screen tvs. 15 games is a good achievement. I have a tendency to start a game and not finish it. but not anymore. I'll play them one at a time. Currently playing Shadow Warrior. The next one will be Penumbra. That's a nice graphic card you got there. I got a Radeon r9 280x(3gb). Hopefully it will last for a few years!!!

Pretty good timing for me since I'm pretty close to clearing out my Steam backlog. I still have a couple uncompleted games, but I'm not worried about those.

Wouldn't mind a nice sale on Shadow of Mordor or maybe Assetto Corsa, maybe Valiant Hearts and This War of Mine.

Between dirt cheap discounts and the game bundles PC is the best way to be at in terms of wealth of games to chose from and money savings in the long run... however I do have a crowded library begging me to forget about my girlfriend, family and friends and lock myself up to dare finish it, lol.

1- Valve already said they'll patch your games to remove Steamworks if they ever shut down

2- You can crack the DRM directly to not require an online verification in any eventuality.

3- Pirate all the games you own to have a DRM free copy for safe keeping, like me

Buy a digital game on consoles, and you're even morre fuqed.
