Street Fighter 4 Producer Ono Resigns From Director Position at Capcom

Update: Ono has clarified on Twitter that he remains at Capcom, and that this announcement only pertains to his work with Capcom Vancouver. "My position within Capcom has not changed and I'm still involved in all of the projects that I'm currently working on," he said in one tweet. He added separately, "Only my role for Capcom Vancouver has ended."
Original Story: Yoshinori Ono, best known as the colorful producer for the Street Fighter IV series, announced his resignation today from the director position at Capcom Vancouver.
Via Twitter, Ono wrote, "I resigned from the director position about [sic] CAPCOM Vancouver. Thanks good staff of CAPCOM Vancouver, and Dead Rising staff!" He followed that up with the explanation, "I had take some time, I think over very carefully about next things. I'd like to watch TV for Brazil World Cup before thinking it! :D"

We've reached out to Capcom to clarify whether this means he's leaving the company entirely, or if he's just announcing that he's left his current role but will remain at Capcom.
Just a few days ago during E3, Ono dispelled rumors that a potential Street Fighter V would have a "pay-to-win model." However, that shouldn't be taken as a confirmation of Street Fighter V (or that he was working on it directly); Ono added, "We're still in early planning stages and will share more at a later date."
