Top 10 UK Sales Chart: Persona 5 Is Series' Biggest Launch Ever

Mass Effect need to take a leaf out of this game. Don't do a Final Fantasy or a general Ubisoft and release your game broken/incomplete replete with bugs ;)

Makes me proud to live here, and it would have sold alot more, but the demand must have caught the publisher off guard because its sold out in most areas, even Amazon only has scalpers selling it at the moment, going up from £44 to £70.

This is big for a franchise like Persona which had always appealed to only a small but hardcore audience. It's good to know people still like this kind of game and the JRPG isn't dead, despite Square Enix's attempts to destroy the genre.

I've been playing it through since it came out and it is such amazing fun.

Persona is life, didn't know there was so many fans. I originally bought PS4 for this one game. Took a looong wait, but has been worth it.

Lego City Undercover, picked it up for $10 on Wii U years ago, only Lego game I actually liked, didn't play it much but fiancee loved it.

Hey guys does anyone knows if there will be any collection edition of the previews games maybe remasters of some sort? I haven't played any of the previews ones and it looks interesting.

Persona 5 is so good, I literally feel like I'm in the game - the story, characters, activities, travelling and places make it all come to life.

Apparently, quite a few people still keep their PS3s and got excited there's a new game for the system.

If I had more time I would get Persona 5 right now but I dont so I will pick it up closer to christmas time. Jrpgs age well.

This is no surprise here, I knew Persona 5 would win the number 1 U.K charts and boy, I'm just glad to see JRPG games are still alive and well so congrats to Atlus on making Persona 5 awesome.

Mass effect... what can I say. All the bad press, less than positive reviews and just all around negativity concerning Bioware and some of their "controversial" decisions seems to have played a part in it's rather quick decline. I'm sure some of it has to do with the bulk of it's consumers purchasing it day 1 but the fact that it had slipped so quickly is pretty telling of the situation.

The big surprise here (at least from my perspective.) is Ghost Recon: Wildlands. How the hell is it hanging on so well, lol?

All things considered I wouldn't be surprised if Persona 5 held onto the #1 spot next week thanks in part to the great reviews/word of mouth it has garnered. I don't think any other big AAA titles are coming out in the immediate future so this scenario may more than likely play out.

Cool seeing persona 5 selling good, and good to see Mass Effect Andromeda still up there despite the negativity its a great game.
