oh wow, I thought I was reading something wrong when I saw this yesterday - Sarah Michelle Gellar is lending her voice to this game! She didn't even do her own voice in the Buffy games!

Damn you Treyarch. I was hoping to avoid getting Black Ops, but now this is making me reconsider. Thank goodness for Gamefly. Now if the PSN issues would just get handled sooner......

@tapout03 That may be so but I always hated the fact that call of Duty games retain such a high price after release there are other game that came out last year that are in High demand that have had there prices significantly cut. Halo Reach is only $15 bucks at my local game store.

I've never really liked the Call of duty series But when I first saw this trailer I seriously considered picking up Black ops just so I could play this but with COD Black Ops ridiculously high price it's still $49.99 when it came out in Nov. of last year in comparison Fallout New Vegas is only $19.99 and it came out even later then duty and it has even more content that would justify a large price tag not to mention I'd still have to pay another $15 bucks just to get this DLC so yea I'll probably pass on his but those guys at Treyarch should consider turning the Call of the Dead series into it's own full retail release then I'd definitely buy because love Zombie games and the only thing I like more then Zombie games is Zombie games with a 70's grind house movie aesthetic.

This actually looks great. They really need to make Zombies it's own game, I think it would do well as it's own franchise. @DCUltrapro this is a map in the DLC pack called Escalation.

Ms Gellar in anything = I'd buy that for a dollar that said, I still don't have Black Ops, I don't see it worth paying for when all I would be interested in is the single player stuff. I'll just leave it a while and eventually pick it up when it's dirt cheap I think.

So can someone clarify the name for me? Is it call of duty black ops Escalation or Call of the Dead? I got confused when I heard the escalation part, I was like "did they release a sequel already called escalation and somehow I slept through it?" so I assume its just a really long name for the expansion. is it purely a map pack or is there some single player story at all? also when are there going to be some more online achievements? I hated them on Halo because I never played it enough and had no chance of getting them but I've nearly got my first prestige on BO and there should be cheivos!! Like the other day on Nuke Town I killed a dude with my Supply Crate! And another example, I was in the window in one of the houses above the street and my mate was 2 inches to my left when someone stuck him in the eye with an explosive arrow and I managed to survive when he blew to bits lol. So yeah... come on guys I want a new chievo pack for online craziness!!

this is actually a swell idea and could be the first decent thing they did with black ops. if this is a proper story based zombie campaign then id say im sold.

i'm actually going to partially back track on my previous comment, although I am definitely tired of all this zombie stuff, this particular dlc does look the muts nuts, how will it work though? IS it going to be a story mode thing where you each play as a member of the 4 characters? I'm gonna be Michael Rooker... him a bad ass!!

isn't anyone else bored of all the zombie themes flying around? Personally I'm sick to death of it. The Island of Doctor Ned was genius but after that it just got very boring

The ONLY good thing about Black Ops is the Kino der Toten zombie level. Everything else is either boring or has been done before.

hmm, love the zombie mode in cod, but im not sure how i feel about this trailer. My initial immpression is they are changing what made it great in the first place, replacing the original unique characters with actors (both voice and appearance) and adding george romero as like a boss zombie as well. But hopefully Im wrong and it will be great.

See, this is better than just a handful of maps. Too bad Activision is really stingy when it comes to letting Steam reduce the price on sales for their games. Modern Warfare 2 is till $60 a whole year after release, and only got discounted around the time CODBLOPS come out. Even then it's still too expensive for a year old game.

this is an interesting take on zombie mode. Give it a more theatrical feel. can't wait to see how everything comes together in the end.
