Vampyr, the next game from Remember Me and Life Is Strange developer Dontnod Entertainment, recently launched behind mostly positive reviews. If you're thinking about picking up the game, you might be interested in seeing the first part of the game to get an idea if it's for you.
In Vampyr, you take control of Dr. Jonathan Reid, a famous surgeon, known for his dedication to saving lives during the Spanish Flu epidemic. However, he returns home from the Great War cursed with vampirism and now must struggle to find his humanity. The game is set in the dark and gritty streets of 1918 London.
You can watch Jess and Sam play around the first hour of the game in the video above. Of course, it contains spoilers, so be mindful of that if that matters to you.
Vampyr is out now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Dontnod also has a Life is Strange sequel in the works, and if a reveal is coming soon, that could happen at E3 2018 next week.
GameSpot's Vampyr review scored the game a 7/10. "Vampyr is certainly shaggy and rough in the technical department, but its narrative successes still make for an impactful and worthwhile experience," reviewer Justin Clark said. You can read GameSpot's full review here.
