Xbox Live Suffering From Issues Right Now [UPDATE]

@rafoca: Are you serious? PSN goes down and there are aboriginals up north that hear about it in smoke signals.

@rafoca: Seeing how the install base is over twice as much for ps4 (ps3 and 360 are close to the same), they'd surely report it as it'd be big news, more clicks, more money for their business. I can't ever remember nintendos online being down, I'm guessing because so few people are on it (might change now with switch).

@rafoca: PSN doesn't suffer as many issues as people claim, yes it has had some bigger issues in the past but so has XBL. Sure it's not as good as XBL but still it's reliable. It's had a couple hiccups lately but it only affected a small amount of people therefore not really newsworthy.

@rafoca: i've seen like one time something was reported about PSN currently experiencing problems and multiple times people on forums and other places complaining it was down but no reports about it like this one..

i'd bet it has to do with sony spending more on ads for these sites.

I'm in my 13th year on XBL and have never experienced a single outage or downtime. PSN on the other hand.... well let's just say there was a 3 week period where I couldn't access it. Just saying.?✌️

@snaketus: No, it's just usually more reliable than PSN, which was originally free for a reason. Microsoft could pull it off for having more experience creating servers than a company like Sony. They're faster, and more reliable.

And I'm a PS4 owner stating that. And it's a subject most play bias towards, I don't think playing games on PSN should cost the same rate as Live because the quality difference is pretty big.

In the long run I hope PSN get's a discount Plus package for players that don't want the subscription games; but want to play online. I don't expect it to be free again like it was on PS3, but I would like it if multiplayer-only was 50% the current Plus price.

Regardless I prefer the PS4 as a console. I'm a big fan of its gaming library. And yet I think the online features are not worth its asking price_

@snaketus: and did you read how fast it got fixed? Unlike Sony that take weeks or months.
