This game isn't as bad as people are saying but it isn't amazing either

When I got this game I was really excited to start playing. The first levels were really fun and the story was quite intriguing as well. But the game play started to get a little repetitive and things just seemed to keep happening over and over again. This game could have been a lot better in terms of story but it seems thats not the case here. I found the story a little dull, it started off cool and all but it just never took off if you know what I mean. You would expect something really cool to happen to mix things up but nope, didn't happen. In the end it was just a mediocre story. It wasn't all bad though, some parts were pretty cool when there was a big boss alien but even then it felt just a little bit empty. Also, there weren't enough alien types in this game, there were just a few. They could have added tons of different sorts but nope. This goes double for the weapons selection which was quite boring. You had your usual carbine and you also had a few other alien weapons that were quite cheap except for maybe one of them. Now don't even get me started on the glitches in this game because there was a lot of them. Maybe you wanted to go and pick up some more ammo for your rocket launcher but it wouldn't let you pick it up? Or maybe your just walking and then.....*silence* ....thats right, no sound. even the loading time took forever in this game and even once, jammed and I had to turn off the PS3 and turn it on and restart from my last checkpoint. But, it did have some fun moments and the graphics were quite nice so it wasn't a complete fail. I would really enjoy a sequel, but something much better than this would be needed.
