DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is one of the best DBZ games that I've played in a long, long time.

Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is definatly a step in the right direction. If you played Tenkaichi 1 and hated it, don't worried you'll FREAK'IN love Tenkaichi 2. In my opinion what makes this game a must have if your a DBZ fan.......is the "in-game transformation". YES!!!! THAT'S RIGHT!!! You can finally transform again. UUHHH!! I'm sooo happy now. Anyway the gameplay is very similar to the first Tenkaichi, but it's been revamp and refined. You no longer have to button mash your way out in a close hand to hand combat. Plus you can charge up your kamehameha or special beam cannon, or whatever when you attack. To transform you press R3 and any of the directional buttons. And each transformation makes that charecter stronger than before. Some charecters can change back into there normal state when they transform.
There's also a tag team system where you can switch charecters during battle which makes the fights last much longer. Also the environments are like twice the size than the first tenkaichi so when you fight it actually feels you can go almost any where.

The music is great. To be honest I got sick and tire of hearing the same music from the actual TV series in the DBZ games from DBZ Budokai 1 through DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 1. The music in this game is all rock and techno. Some song are a mixture of both. But the music fits the fighting sequences perfectly.

You still have a story mode which is jammed pack with moments straight from the DBZ series, movies, and DBGT. It took me 3 whole days intel I got in the Frieza Saga and gotten Goku to Super Saiyan. IT'S THAT FREAK'IN LONG. You also got ultimate battle, Tournaments, dueling, etc.

Overall this game is awesome. Whoever says DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is a crappy game they can eat dirt. They won't know what a great game is if it slapped them in the face and puched them in the nuts. Anyway this game is a must have if your a fan and it's 10x better than the first.
